Corvettes in Brisbane

The day for the Corvettes in Brisbane event arrived - Retro Rock-It was ready to roll, while Booger Mobile looked on from the slowly emptying shed...

Sun was rising... time for a few pre-event snaps...

Looking the goods...

Gratuitous rear-end shot!

And from the front...

After picking up Hoges, the boys headed out to the DFO at Amazons Place Jindalee (the old site of the Amazons water park, for those old enough to remember).

Hoges with the old Giggle logo, and Damian with the new one... ready for a big day of fundraising!

Hoges knows where it's at!

Under the bonnet son!

Damian added the Camp Quality flag to attract visitors... Retro Rock-It is just peeking over the fence!

Damian with the fundraising tin... Get your motor running!

Parked and ready to attract a crowd... the lights were going, but only the one is showing!

Hoges and his grandsons...

The General Lee... not a Corvette, but pretty cool for a 70's kid like Damo!

Crowds checking out the cars across the day...

Retro Rock-It right at the entrance...

Tricia's favourite car... won a prize and all!

Damian was up high to get a pic for one of the Corvette Club members, and grabbed a pic of Hoges while he was up there!

There were very slight intermittent showers across the day, but although they looked menacing, nothing much came from the cloud cover...

Punters lining up for the trophy presentation.

Lots of happy campers!

The day finished with $85.05 in the donation tin, along with a donation of $500 worth of Coles vouchers from the Corvette Club!

With the esCarpade only 3.5 weeks away, the boys are up to almost $12000 in fundraising, aiming for $15000.

In breaking news, Damian's brother Jason will not be able to make the trip this year, meaning the car will just have Damian and Hoges... Hopefully Jason will return another year.
