More Donations and Theming Updates

As the 2019 Camp Quality esCarpade draws closer, Damian acquired another couple of donations!  In the past week or so, a donation was received from Pitcher Partners (who have chosen not to provide a sticker for Retro Rock-It), but Damian stopped by their offices recently to give them a thank you certificate all the same!

And a new donation received...  Here's a nice blank spot for a sticker, complete with reflection of Damian and Booger Mobile!

Next up, Damian thought that the rooftop pod could do with some colour...  Would the word ROCK fit around the speaker?

Yes, but RETRO fitted better!!

And with a creative squeeze, ROCK-IT fits on the other side of the speaker!

One coat of paint... not bad for an amateur with a paint brush!!

And one coat on the passenger side...

And a second coat on the driver's side...

And on the passenger side...

Next up, the Giggle face on the back was a bit difficult to see when red...

Trace over the existing face...

And the nose...

Then freehand an outline to complete Giggle's head and ears!

The esCarpade front window sticker was a bit big for Damian's liking...  He tried it on the window but didn't like the position, and besides, the number got in the way... what to do?

Cue a bit of creative trimming, it fits much better!!

Slap on another couple of little stickers...

Got to keep the sponsors happy!!

And of course, this coming weekend (Sunday 8 September) Damian will have Retro Rock-It down at Carindale for the Brisbane Billycart Championships, where he will perform MC duties as per usual.

Don't forget that the mega-raffle is underway - at the time of writing there are only 64 tickets remaining - once they are sold, the raffle will be drawn!!  At the latest, this will be on Sunday, but it will be drawn beforehand if there are no further tickets to sell on Sunday.
