esCarpade Day 7 - Dinner

With the driving all done and dusted, it was time for the boys to head to the final night celebration dinner... It was still beaming with sunshine when they left, making their pre-dinner selfie a little on the ridiculous side!

Gordy from MW1 has completed an incredible 30 esCarpades... and now, he's "retiring" from the event.

Thank you certificates were handed out...

The fundraising total for esCarpade 2023 was $1,172,800!!

Drumroll for the 2024 route announcement...

Canberra to Geelong... via Echuca! This is a very, VERY long way from Queensland!

Giggle made a special guest appearance also...

And with that, it is all over bar the shouting! The boys are off to bed, with an 8 hour drive ahead of them in the morning to get home...

esCarpade Day 6 - Dinner

The skies looked ominous this evening as the boys got ready for dinner in Goondiwindi...

After several takes, this was the best Damian could come up with..."Spirit of Camp Quality" award recipient Jamie aka Batman...

The duo played great music, and a top night was had by all.

Tomorrow will be the final run from Goondiwindi to Moree for lunch, then finishing in Narrabri.

esCarpade Day 5 - Dinner

Dinner in Chinchilla, and the theme, of course, was MELONS!

Damian and Hoges had their watermelon shirts on...

The sky looked ominous on the way to dinner...

Some of the officials had shirts that included the face of Rachel, the Camp Quality boss of esCarpade!

At dinner, having shoved a watermelon flavoured lollie in their mouths...

Live entertainment never goes astray!

The Lego Ladies got into the spirit of things with their own shirts... all with marginally NSFW slogans on them!

This is what happens when they try to stop you taking a photo of one of them...

And suddenly lean back when the photo is taken!

Well, there it is. The one that strolls ever so close to that line!

The SPIKA boys had angry looking melons!

A great night was had by all... the Showgrounds was the venue, and it was also being set up to house some of the evacuees from the bushfires in and around Tara.

esCarpade was meant to be going to Tara on Day 6 for lunch - this isn't happening now for obvious reasons, but they will still have fun and do their best to bring smiles to people's faces, while being safe and sensible about the unfolding situation.
